This is the (modest) home of the preemptive multitasking C based 8051 Kernel.
We demonstrate that it is possible to provide pre-emptive multitasking, blocking I/O, message passing queues and other services on even very small hardware platforms. Presently we are using a UNIX port of the Dunfield MICRO-C 8051 compiler and Micromint BCC52 hardware platform.
